I was just reading my past blog, remembering the longing for summer weather and warm nights…and wooo-hooo, what do you know the days have finally arrived. Today I spent the afternoon at the Farmer’s Market and then napping on the sofa with my husband while feeling the complete freedom from any form of responsibility. In two weeks, we are heading out of the Midwest towards the Deep South for a really wonderful vacation. I am looking forward to having time to wrap my fingers around my husband’s fingers and walking down familiar streets in the city we are visiting, because we have been there before, and just taking in his conversation and how utterly beautiful his mind is. ‘Cause see, he doesn’t know it I don’t think…but his thoughts are intoxicating. The topics he chats about always send me thinking and understanding different ways of looking at the same thing we may both be enjoying. He is super! Holy cow, super and brilliant and he is all mine….gotta be some thanks given somewhere for that blessing.
